-How many photographs will you take?

I take anywhere from 300 to 1,000 photographs.
Depending on the package you choose, you will receive anywhere from 200 to 750 photographs (4x6).

-What is your style or philosophy for weddings?

I mix traditional posed and candid photojournalistic styles. While the candid photojournalistic style is very popular these days, traditional posed photographs will truly last the test of time. The most important factor is wht YOU want!!

-What are proofs and do I get to keep them?

Proofs are 4x6 inch photograph prints of every image I captured at your wedding. The proofs come in an album and are yours to keep.  Proofs from Bob Sims Photography are printed and bound in an album, so you can easily show your friends and families your beautiful photographs.

7.Is an engagement session included in the wedding package?

Yes. An engagement session is included with certain packages.

-Will you pressure us to see each other before the wedding?

No. But, I will tell you the benefit of photographing yourselves together before the wedding. But, I won’t pressure you. Once you give me your answer, that’s it. I understand that the day is not about photography; it’s about your wedding and I am there to capture the moments.
I recommend photographing the bride and groom together before the wedding if...
-you want photographs taken at a location other than the church or reception site, like a park.
-you want photographs taken outdoors, but it gets dark early (Spring and Fall).
-you want to get to the reception quickly.
-you want a wide variety of photographs.

-How long will it take to get my proofs?

Your proof album will be available in 2 to 4 weeks.

-Do you charge extra for Black and White and Sepia?
No! If you so desire, you’re album will have a mix of Color, Black/White and Sepia.

-What type of equipment do you use?
We use Canon professional photographic equipment. We also use professional quality studio lights for your formal altar return photographs. We also have back-up equipment in the unlikely event that our equipment should either break or malfunction.

-Do you have any special discounts?

Yes! There are special rates for Friday, Sunday and off-season weddings (November-March).

-Why should I go with Bob Sims Photography when there are so many other Wedding photographers in the area?

Dollar for dollar you will not find a better value for your money with any other wedding photographer in the tri-state area, period. Also, you will not be disappointed when you receive your wedding proofs. -I still have a while to go before my wedding, what should I do now?

Easy! You should schedule a consultation with Bob Sims Photography. I encourage you to make sure both the Bride and Groom attends along with anyone else, such as your parents or even friends. This will give me an opportunity to further discuss my services as well as give you the opportunity to look at my portfolio and also share the details of your wedding.
